You’ll be introduced to stencil art from the very beginnings of recorded-human history, to the modern day with Banksy art. Just what did inspire him to become so impressive at stencil art in a world of graffiti art in Bristol? These sessions are a great way to spray street art, “get your hands on the cans” and take home some self-sprayed artwork, using our water-based spray paints and laser cut stencils. (A2 artwork size which is 59cm by 42cm).

Explore the sights and sounds of the tranquil countryside right on our doorstep as we cruise along the feeder canal and through Netham Lock to the leafy riverbanks of St Anne’s and Conham River Park. Look out for otters, ducks, swans, kingfishers, deer and foxes as you glide slowly towards the famous Beeses, nestled on the river bank. At Beeses you can either treat yourselves to a some of the delicious options from their Deli Bar, or enjoy some refreshing drinks with your friends. Price includes boat journey only – food and drink must be bought from Beese’s directly upon arrival.

The walk on the slave trade and its impact on Bristol, will incorporate the 1,000 year history of Bristol as a port, a summary history of Bristol’s participation in the English and British slave trade including the abolition of the slave trade in 1807 and the abolition of slavery in 1833, and reference to Bristol born Edward Colston, an official of the Royal African Company, and his divisive legacy to Bristol. The walk will take in the historic harbour of Bristol including the Floating Harbour, the City Centre, Park Street, Bristol Cathedral, Pero’s Bridge, and John Cabot’s statue by the Arnolfini.
